Shipping Questions
  • When will my order be processed?

    We process orders Monday through Friday, and aim to send out all orders the same day when received before noon PST, and all other orders by the next business day.

    Shipping times are listed alongside each shipping method listed at checkout, and are from the date your order is shipped. For example: if you place your order on a Tuesday at 2:15 pm PST and choose "2-3 Day Express" shipping at checkout, your order will ship by Wednesday and take 2-3 days from then.

    We know how hard waiting is, so you will receive an email with your tracking info on the day your order ships, so you can keep tabs on where it is. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder, and if you still cannot find it, please contact us at store@alavanca.com.

  • Will a signature be required at delivery?

    Any orders over $150 will require a signature at the time of delivery.

    When a signature is required, the carrier will make up to three attempts at delivery. A notice that delivery has been attempted will be left at the recipient's address after the first and second attempts.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    For a limited time, we are offering free shipping to all locations in the US. In addition, you may select from various USPS and FedEX shipping methods, each of which is priced based upon the weight of the order and the delivery location.

    International customers can select from a number of paid shipping options (note: additional customs fees may apply).

    You may also choose Free Local Pickup to pickup your order at the Gracie University of Jiu-Jitsu in Torrance, CA.

  • Are customs costs included in international shipping prices?

    All items entering a foreign country are subject to Customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with your country's national laws. Depending on your country's customs policies, there may be additional charges at pick up in your country or delays

  • Tracking shows a delay / hasn't updated recently, what should I do?

    While super rare, sometimes USPS and FedEx (our two carriers) get delayed or forget to scan a package at one of their stops. If you are looking at your tracking info and see a delay or that it isn't updating, feel free to email us at store@alavanca.com. In most instances, packages are still delivered on time or with only a minor delay.

  • Do you ship to FPO military addresses?

    Absolutely! You'll see options for all shipping destinations once you get to the shipping page at checkout. If you have any issues entering your address, email us at store@alavanca.com and we will make sure that we process your order immediately.
